Innovations in Digital Health: Exploring Advanced Biomarkers and AI Technologies
Tom Diethe is Head of The Centre for Artificial Intelligence (Executive Director) at AstraZeneca, Cambridge UK. Tom’s department sits within the Data Science & Artificial Intelligence organisation, which is part of the wider BioPharmaceuticals R&D.
The Digital Health Seminar Series is a collaboration between LEAP Digital Health Hub and the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Digital Health and Care at the University of Bristol.

In February 2025, Andrew Dowsey, Chair in One Health Data Science (University of Bristol) presented at the first event of the Digital Health Seminar Series, a collaboration between LEAP Digital Health Hub and the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Digital Health and Care at the University of Bristol.
A focus group to co-design a course on Artificial Intelligence for healthcare professionals
In December 2024, we held a focus group to support the development of a course on AI for healthcare for professionals. Participants were invited to help the Hub create course content guided by actual needs. Sign up to our mailing list for updates about the course.

For Bristol Data Week 2024, we collaborated with the Jean Golding Institute to present a series of short talks exploring the role of interdisciplinary collaboration in digital health.
