Fellowships

LEAP’s Fellowship Programme will include several schemes that aim to foster leadership and grow capacity in Digital Health. Fellows will be uniquely placed to benefit from the range of expertise and training opportunities across the Hub.

Executive Fellowship

The LEAP Executive Fellowship scheme aims to build a cohort of experienced individuals at C-suite level, founder or equivalent across industry, NHS / public sector, and third sector organisations who are looking to network at the highest level through participation in an international Digital Health leadership programme. These Fellowships are offered on an unfunded basis with various exclusive benefits, including networking, events and Visiting Fellow status at one of the Hub’s partner universities.

Twin Fellowship

Multidisciplinarity is central to Digital Health. The LEAP Twin Fellowship is a novel collaborative Fellowship for a multidisciplinary pair of Fellows, creating breadth of capability for problem-solving, opportunities to learn from each other and developing transferable teamwork skills. Potential Fellows with common interests but complementary skills will be invited to apply in pairs, collaborating on the application and committing to undertake the Fellowship at the same time.

Solo Fellowship

For excellent individuals and future leaders with a specific research vision.

Community Fellowship

The LEAP Community Fellowship is designed for providers of social care, assisted living, patients and informal carers. Community Fellows will bring a passion for solving a specific problem, lived experience or knowledge of front-line service delivery.

Entrepreneurial Fellowship

For founders or prospective founders seeking time and knowhow to de-risk a research idea, enabling the accelerated translation of digital technologies into the healthcare space.

PhD Fellowship

This scheme is aimed at PhD students who are looking to undertake a placement with industry, NHS / public sector, or third sector organisation in order to further their development in Digital Health. Fellowships will be up to three months and students will need to pause their studies for the duration.
